Here at Capsule HQ, one of our favorite past times is going up to the local hills and rolling giant wooden pinwheels down the slopes. It’s fantastic! Our activity became so popular with the locals that we got a good sized group going, and our group got so large it became hard to manage. So naturally we decided to start a Capsule. The group texting feature really helps us keep our wooden-cog-rolling-group informed as to when we’re going to meet. The best part is checking back on the Capsule and reveling in all the zany footage that our group members captured and uploaded with our photo sharing and video sharing tools! Start a Capsule for your weekly meetup group and enjoy all of our awesome features!

Let us help you organize your school projects, so you may enjoy the fruits of your studious labor, rather than being featured in a trending Internet video that doesn’t portray you in the best light!
Enjoy your Monday folks!

The Youngest Fan of Capsule
My wife and I had a baby! Caitlyn Elena Schmidt was born on 9/13/2011. Here’s me and my baby girl

We were able to use Capsule to share photos and updates of the experience with our closest friends and family. They loved the SMS updates and photos of little Caitlyn.
She’s now well on her way to being spoiled rotten by her parents and grandparents.

Introducing Capsule
Hello world.
We decided to build Capsule after a fun filled year of weddings and bachelor parties. The problem was that all the existing services for planning, communicating, and photo sharing around events and groups proved to be incomplete. Pieces of the process have been solved, but there wasn’t a solution that handled the entire life cycle properly. It seemed natural that the same service you used to plan and invite should also allow you to communicate with the group and share photos. Not to mention capture everything in a way that makes it fun to come back to years later to reminisce. We’re happy to let you know that such a service now exists.
We hope you like what we’ve built. You can read on for more info, or check out the site here.
What is Capsule?
Capsule is a web app (mobile soon!) built for event planning, group interaction, and photo sharing. Next time you think about starting an evite, a facebook event or group, or a 10-person email thread, try Capsule.
Capsule was built on the premise that most real-life networks are born and die around shared experiences. Defining relationships between members via these experiences gives greater context to posts, photos, and connections. Memories are captured and preserved within the context of who, what, when, and where, meaning revisiting those memories is a more complete and rich experience.
Worried about privacy? Not any more. Every capsule is a completely private space. Only the members of your capsule can see what you post. So don’t be shy. Don’t censor yourself. This is Capsule, and it’s all private. Want more information? Visit our FAQ page.
Who is Capsule?
Capsule was founded in 2011 by Cyrus Farudi and Omri Cohen, two serial entrepreneurs, who had 14 weddings and 9 bachelor parties to attend in one year. Frustrated by the lack of a good, complete solution to group planning, communicating, and photo sharing, they decided to tackle the problem themselves.
You can see the result of their tackle at www.trycapsule.com
