With wedding season in full stride, we thought it’d be a good idea to put together a few things necessary to make your wedding memorable. So, brides-to-be, here are a few suggestions on how to make your wedding a memory that will warm your heart for the coming years.

Get the venue you are set on! Don’t settle for something other than what you truly desire. You’ll never have another wedding day again. Save up and and schedule the date you want far ahead of time. This ensures that your big day has the perfect setting and atmosphere.

Make sure every person you want there, can make it! Surrounding yourself with the family friends that are dear to you is essential! Work with everyone’s schedules, and do what you can to get as many of your loved ones at your wedding day.

Wedding photographs! Hire the right photographer. Most photographers know their business and won’t let you down, but, nonetheless, you should do some research on your potential candidates. Summer vacation recommendation: Mt. Kilimanjaro

Here goes our second summer vacation recommendation. A series of blog post where we will try to get you on a summer vacation that is a bit outside the norm to give you more fuel for your CapsuleCam. This weeks recommendation: 15 day safari in Tanzana, Africa

You know the Africa you see in films: Beautiful plains, wild herds of animals running across the landscape, Fierce lions stalking their prey, etc… Well, that’s Tarzana, and that’s the world you’d be entering on this trip. You’ll spend the first few days chasing wild animals across a variety of parks and rivers and retiring at night to a variety of lodges, hotels, and camp sites.

After ten days of that, it is time to begin your conquest of Kilimanjaro. It may not be an easy climb, but will definitely prove to be a fulfilling one. After you get down from the peak, it’s smooth sailing for the next day.

This a trip that wil leave you feeling confident and accomplished, as well as giving you a lot of photo sharing material.

Summer Vacation Recommendation: Guyana, South America

The place: Guyana, South America

The experience: 2 days alone in the South American rainforest.

The Bushcraft survival course isn’t your typical summer getaway. You and a small team will hike into the South American Amazon and create a camp. You stay with your team for about a week, training and preparing for the ultimate challenge: Surviving alone for 2 nights in one of the most inhospitable locations on the planet—the kind of place where you’d find Capsule’s very own Cyrus Farudi.

While on your own, you will be stripped of most modern conveniences—that means no photo sharing with CapsuleCam. Sorry, folks.

You’d be in close proximity with other team members, but not close enough to meet. You will also be under the watchful eye of the natives who live in the forest and will be acting as your personal guardians.

Every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m, Team Capsule gets together on a Google Hangout for our weekly meeting. It’s a very serious meeting where we talk about very serious things: the future of CapsuleCam, branding, user relations, etc… I want to give you, our beloved reader, a more personal look into our team meetings with the stories of Saul’s heat stroke and Omri’s new spider.

During the same meeting, Ryan also told us that he discovered how to make something incredible for Capsule that will turn the event planning app industry upside down… then he refused to show us.

Had a blast at the Israel Festival on Sunday. So many awesome attractions all over the great green park.

We had a nice photo backdrop set up by the entrance, but the bastard wind managed to make something so beautiful (the backdrop) into a hanging banner of pain, as the wind mercilessly tugged at the backdrop from all directions.

Cyrus and Omri worked so hard stealing sandbags to weigh the thing down, but, alas, it was all in vain.

Learn how to protect yourself from your Facebook profile

Let’s face it, your Facebook profile is a projection of yourself. The site provides you with a digital canvas to paint the portrait of your personality for everyone else to see. Because of this, Facebook is an incredible way of peering deeper into someone’s character.

Employers across the country have added the inspection of a prospective employee’s Facebook profile to the regular hiring process. This has potentially lost many jobs for people whom, had it not been for the content on their Facebook profile, would have gotten the job.

And even after being hired, Facebook has still cost some people their jobs, like this girl who was fired for her Facebook post about her boss. Maybe you keep your Facebook nice and respectful, but you are a very serious weekend warrior and you have been tagged in over 300 photos that display your capricious drunken behavior.

It is healthy to be aware of how your Facebook profile can be used against you, but we understand that sometimes shit is too funny to not post. Here are a few ways to protect yourself from your Facebook’s content biting you in the ass.

1) Facebook has privacy settings! Use them. You can literally ban anyone you want to from viewing your Facebook profile. Make the privacy settings work for you.

2) Start using completely private group/event sharing platforms such as Capsule, so that you can still share photos and post, no matter how hilariously crude they are.

3) Be a completely responsible and acceptable member of society (not happening anytime soon for many of us).

4) I got 99 problems but a Facebook profile ain’t one. Delete your Facebook.

Too many lives have been claimed by clipart! Although the threat of Evite has been subdued, the threat of FB Events has never been stronger. Lives are still being lost at the hands of poorly made event planning apps.

This is why we built Capsule: To combat the darkness that has overtaken event planning space with the brightest of lights like a lighthouse placed in the darkest of seas, guiding the lost back home to the world of good event planning apps.

Big thanks to actor/artist Alan Cumming!

Last night, Alan Cumming, known primarily for starring in the films X2, Spy Kids, and Goldeneye, held an exhibit for his art at a lovely hotel in the heart of Los Angeles. Alan, being the good guy he is, invited team capsule to come on by and set up TV Mode for him. We happily obliged.

The night, of course, ended up being completely phenomenal. We made sure to hook up as many people as we could with CapsuleCam to ensure everyone could get their share of the live photo sharing experience.

Imagine you find yourself at an awesome event with these glasses on. It would be so awesome to create a capsule with the glasses for the event and then open up CapsuleCam in the glasses , so you could start enjoying an incredibly unique photo sharing experience. Awesome.
